250 mA 3,3 V Low Quiescent Current LDO Voltage Regulator
Microchips MCP1702 and 1703 families are decent voltage regulators because of their low quiescent current of about 2 μA. Therefore they're very useful for battery driven applications. For example to drive a low power microcontroller from a 9V battery.
Properties:
2.0 μA Typical Quiescent Current
Input Operating Voltage Range: 2.7V to 16V
250 mA Output Current
Low Dropout (LDO) voltage - typical 525 mV.
0.4% Typical Output Voltage Tolerance
Output voltage 3.3V
Stable with 1.0 μF to 22 μF output capacitance
Short-Circuit Protection
Overtemperature Protection
